We believe shopping for high-quality, non-toxic essentials should be simple.

Shopping online is harder than it should be. We scroll through endless options, hunting for “BPA-Free” or “OEKO-TEX” labels buried within the listings, and deciding based on biased reviews. Too often, in the end we’re stuck with a low-quality product and the hassle of a return, only to start the cycle all over again.

At Shortlist Shop, we aim to simplify shopping. Confidently choose from a maximum of three excellent options for each product type, curated based on our family’s experience.

Top Quality and Non-Toxic

All products have passed our family’s ‘real family’ test, and all physical products have at least one non-toxic label such as “MADE SAFE®” or “Greenguard Certified.”

Selected with Integrity

We’re transparent that our storefront operates on affiliate revenue. However, we will never include a product we didn’t first buy ourselves, didn’t use, or didn’t like.

Quality over Quantity

A maximum of three high-quality items will be provided per product type to simplify the shopping experience.

About the Shortlist Shop

Like many families, we want to spend our hard-earned money on items that are 1) as safe as possible, and 2) durable and great quality. Finding products online that met those two reasonable criteria felt difficult and frustrating.
The volume of choices is overwhelming. Customer ratings and reviews are biased by the reviewer receiving free products. Finding ‘clear’ or ‘non-toxic’ labels within the listings is time consuming.
Overall we wished there was a trustworthy website with only products that aligned with our criteria. One didn’t exist, so we created the Shortlist Shop ourselves!
